The Ximena’s Guest House has 24 years of service of the international tourist.
“El Ximena’s”, as it is known by many, has a very special atmosphere and is a place where travelers come together at night to interchange travel stories and make plans for future adventures.
Its rustic, Salvadorian style makes Ximena’s a magic place where young and old, backpackers and travelers from different walks of life meet and spend hours at our terrace, patio or restaurant in joyful conversations.
In the morning the common areas are bustling with life as we serve our home style Salvadorian breakfasts and guest gather to enjoy our fresh orange juice and organic coffee to start a new day.
We are located in one of the safest areas in the capital and there is a wide range of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, night clubs, discotheques and movies in walking distance from the hotel. The streets are safe and illuminated and our guest transits them at any time of the day.
Another special thing about Ximena’s is that we have a room or bed for each budget and each need. (See pricing rates). You wont find better rates that that!
We have A/C, private bathrooms with hot showers, cable TV and ceiling fans.
Our specialty is being able to help out our guests with top of the notch tourist information on subjects from bus routes to embassy addresses and destinations throughout the country. The professional and friendly service of our staff has made Ximena’s renowned name throughout the world.
Our restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner at all hours. (See menu) We serve high quality organic coffee produced at the organic farm and our fruit shakes are all made with purified water as well as purified ice for drinks. You can be sure that we take your health seriously and we use only fresh quality products and many of our ingredients are fresh from our organic farm.
Among the services we offer are inexpensive tours and we recommend a trip to our beach hotel Capricho at Barra de Santiago where you find one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. We also provide transport to Capricho.
Other services we offer are: Internet, phone calls via Skype by computer, restaurant, laundry and tourist information.
We are centrally located, not in the historical center but just one block from Blvd. de Los Heroes where Metro Centro (Central America´s biggest mall) is located.
Here you find bars, banks, pharmacies, super markets, shops, theatres and cinema.
Close to Ximena’s you also find pupuserías (where the national dish pupusas are served) and bus connections to local and international bus terminals.
You will be served by our friendly staff: José, America, Verónica and Zulma who will do their best to make you feel at home and help you out if you need tourist information or advice you on travel plans during your stay in El Salvador.
