Large private rooms with double beds, and bunk beds for the children , private bath fan and TV costs US$ 20.- Shared rooms with shared baths cost US$5.-per person. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and there are 40 manzanas of reforested land to hike and
observe a vast variety of wild birds, mammals and reptiles.

At Finca “Las Termopilas” we grow a variety of organic fruits and vegetables, so this is a chance to learn about organic tropical agriculture. We produce our own coffee and honey and you are also invited to observe the process. There is an archaeological site located at the farm,”Sitio Edith “which is dated to the pre-classic era, but not yet excavated. It is an interesting place to learn about the first settlers that lived here some 1000 years ago. If you are interested in archaeology the largest archaeological site in El Salvador “Cihuatán” is just 45 min. away. Cihuatán was the largest city in Mesoamerica at the time of the Toltecs. Nearby, cozy villages such as Tonacatepeque also make for an interesting day trip. Another amazing place is the Tomayate site, which is located just 20 min. from the hotel and is the most important palaentological site in Central America. Cerro de Guazapa is an old extinct volcano, once the stronghold for the guerrilla movement, but now a peaceful and beautiful place where hikes and horseback riding are available.
