Ximena’s Guest House, founded in 1983, is one of the oldest and most experienced guest houses in El Salvador. In 2001 & 2003, it was awarded by the “Let’ Go “guides as specially recommended, due to “Its superior quality to tourists”.Our staff strives
to make you feel at home and give tourist information on subjects from bus routes, embassy addresses and interesting places to visit around the country. The Cihuatán Spanish Language Institute is located at the premises and offer private tutoring..


Our location in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet centrally located makes it a perfect place to relax and study or use as a base camp for traveling to all corners of the country.


We are just two blocks from the main road Boulevard de los Heroes and three blocks from the major restaurant and café district of Calle San Antonio Abad. Nearby you also find: banks, pharmacies, movie theater, shopping malls and post offices.
Our private rooms with private bath have cable TV and hot water showers and cost between
US$19.- / US$23.-.

Double rooms are US$23 & $28 ,and triple US$33.-

Shared rooms (dormitory style) have shared bath and cost between US$6.-/US$8.

The services we offer include: internet access , free tourist information, laundry service, tours, common room with a large screen cable TV and pay phone with international access via prepaid phone cards. Our restaurant feature light meals, breakfast, fresh fruit juices and smoothies and home produced organic coffee.
